These glasses are a really perfect color for a blonde person, but of course could work for others as well. They are mostly clear, with the subtle gold bows (not a bright gaudy gold, but muted), and the bit of tortoiseshell coloring across the top, which is not a dark color. The lenses are a little larger than what I had been used to, but already today, the first day I wore them, I got 2 compliments on them: "I LOVE your glasses!" They shipped pretty quickly as well. The prescription feels just right.
